Yeah, I took it down having realised I was in err. I was just angry at the time, and sometimes, anger can do rash things. Thus I didn't want to waste peoples time with this, so I appologise.

No need to apologise, I'm sure: this is the rants/raves forum, after all.
Hoping things work out for ya and kudos for wanting to do things properly, eventually-- I know just what you mean 'bout house prices down South (purchased or rented)...

I still have to stay with my parents; well my Mom and grandparents actually, until I get some money saved up and settle on a college.

but I'm not their child anymore.
But your still listed on their taxes, and they still need to put up with you. Try a little gratitude instead of pissing about the fact that they care about your future and are giving you a place to stay, even if it has a few rules. Notice, their doing this out of their own pockets.
I think I'm not ever mad at my mom because I don't live with her anymore.

And that might be the reason she has stopped contemplating suicide!

my parents threw me out as soon as i graduated highschool. (i can't imagine why...) but atleast they helped me get an apartment and gave me plenty of furniture too. including some recliners and this big ass tv and some tables i have recieved 4 couches over the course of 5 years from them an i still have the first one. but they still threw me out literally the day after i finished highschool. apparently they set up everything for me in advance so they could get rid of me as soon as possible while being as nice as possible. trust me when i say we never got along at all before this. i was always getting in trouble and they let my brothers get away with murder. i guess it was only cuz i was a stepson and my brothers weren't. oh well as soon as i was out of the house they were instantly the best and nicest parents ever. but before then........let's just say i'm lucky to be alive right now....

If you're of legal age (over 18 in the US) your parents can't FORCE you to stay at home. :| I don't know what people over 18 mean when they say that.

I think the whole 'My parents are forcing me to stay home even though legally they have no right to do so' thing is just an excuse. It's much easier than owning up to what the real reason you don't want to leave home is.

My parents refuse to let me move out until I have my GED and at least 4000 dollars of saved up cash. I cannot move in with anyone I don't know or haven't met offline. >v> Stupid rules... I can't say or do anything without them objecting... I maybe their spawn, but I'm not their child anymore.
Unless you suffer from a disability such as severe enough mental retardation or something else that incapacitates you where the parents still have to have legal guardianship of you, you can't be forced to live with your parents after the age of 18 (as Null said and in the US). So uhh?
Are you disabled sir?

And to be honest, my mother said I'll have to pay for the expenses double time until the money they've spent on me from age 18 and beyond is paid for.

yeah, "not cool" from your p.o.v. perhaps, but you're OK with that... right?
Not everyone reacts in the same manner and when the reactions are consistently negative, it's prolly better to back off a bit rather than press the wrong buttons again several times more.

No, unless you're (notice, you're not 'your') stealing quotes from The Simpsons.
Homer: "To Alcohol! The cause of - and sollution to - all of life's problems!"

Yeah okay, By the way, it wouldn't be a stolen quote, it would be paraphrased.
