Suggestion: Report Violation Controls

I was reminded in another thread that it would be good to have a "Report this as a violation" under submissions.

Have a listing that the person must select in the rules "why" a submission violates TOS or AUP. If the person doesn't select it, then the report doesn't go through. If the user is reporting art theft, there should be a field to a link that verifies the submission is violating copyright or the site rules.

This violation subsystem can either be integrated with trouble tickets or on its own, making it easier to have moderators on the site who only handle submission violations.

*nods*. Reports not just on submissions, though, but journals and users, too (+ extendable beyond that) and tied into back-scenes admin/submissions-mod system for documenting and co-ordinating their thoughts/observations/actions.
Was the idea, anyhow... :)
