.mp3 extension keeps getting removed.

I have overwritten one of my songs that I have uploaded to FA and when it is finished uploading for some reason FA likes to cut off the .mp3 extension of my file, rendering it unplayable on the site. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1575793/

This is driving me crazy, please fix this, or tell me what I am doing something wrong that is causing this problem.

It might actually be the name of the original file - FA adds the submission number and username to the file name, and some servers will only deal with files that have (at most) 32 characters in the file name.

Maybe try shortening the name of the file.

It's not unplayable because it lacks an extension - it's unplayable because it wasn't uploaded to FA correctly.

FA's upload code is not smart enough to detect broken uploads it seems, so it 'finalizes' the submission with a missing primary file.

FA upload problems are a known problem and would be fixed shortly.
