Ways to make money for FA..

Ive been thinkin about this... many people come to FA because it is one of the only sites that allow them to shocase music that they have done. I have also noticed that there are A LOT of very talanted musicians on FA making some very cool tracks.

My Suggestion: Make a CD of music to sell. The genre that i was thinking of was dance music, since there are plenty of talanted DJs on FA that make original tracks. This could be something that could even be produced and sold at stores as well if you want to go that far...

Been talking to people~ there are currently 9 (could be more) musicians willing to make this thing happen. But seriously, this will be awesome if it comes through...

All thats left is for Alkora or someone to give me the go-ahead. ^_^

Yeah. :) I read all, comprehend all. I've been putting up a list of things to go over for community based ideas to raise funds. I'd like to be able to have a nice variety of things from our upcoming store people could purchase to help contribute and get a lil' something out of it. :)

Update date - AGAIN!

We have:

-at least nine tracks ready to go. There's gonna be a lot more im thinkin too
-two people ready to Mix the CD (looks like we're at least going to have 2 disks)
-much interest

next question... cover art? Could do a contest~ or i could just ask a buncha people if they wanna draw something for it.. Lemme know, mmmk?

Even if non-dance music was included, I don't know if any of my music is "clean" enough to make the cut (I'm old-school, lo-fi all the way lol)... but it would be nice not to be excluded just because I write songs that are meant to speak to the heart and mind... not just the feet.

The general idea was to make it dance because there are a lot of very talented (emphasis on a lot) dance artists on FA. Dance is also a very popular genre in these times.

This is not to say that the only album supported by FA is dance flavored. I just had an idea and persued it, you could always start orginizing a different genre of album ;3
