I have tried persuading them before, but I will again, my mum's a doctor so there's a little 'I know best,'. I'll try getting a blood test, cheers.
There are tons of studies and literature out there (and lots done by nutritionists/doctors) to support a veg*n diet. If it is of concern to your folks, sit down with them and these texts. And (though you should do this anyway) get a blood test to see if you have any abnormalities.
My family's paranoid that my health would suffer evnethough it's very unlikely, so I'll discontinue eating fish when I move out.
If eating fish conflicts with your morals, then why not simply stop? o_O
I've been vegetarian since I was 10, but still eat fish on occasion [so probably more accurately subscrube to pescetarianism], which makes me feel rather guilty.
I have been a vegan for over three years now, but prior to that I was a vegetarian for seven. So, 10 years total (going onto the 11th) of vegetarianism.
How long have you been vegan?
