I honestly don't mind Newark, it's no where near as bad as it use to be :P I was actually aiming for NYU though or perhaps someplace in upstate NY.

You're lucky, I've been asking myself over and over again "FurFright ? Or no FurFright ?" I didn't spend too much money at FA:U since it was so close but I think I'm too late, from what I've heard at FA:U almost every hotel room within 5 miles of the convention center is booked. Glad you got a rave-buddy to go along with, I'm picky about my music (the best kind of electronic music is the kind you can't dance too IMO ) so I don't normally go to raves but I plan to go to a couple furry ones just to try it.

The few friends that I have aren't into those scenes so getting them into the fandom is almost out of the question :v but oh well, making friends in the fandom isn't hard. I've been to the uni of rutgers many times, quite a few kids from my graduating class are going there, I'm currently attending the community college of morris for 2 years then transferring somewhere up north!

How on earth did you get nonfur friends to go with you to a furry con ? You must have some very open minded friends I know for a fact that I'll be heading to at least 2-3 cons next year one of them being Anthrocon, hoping I can have my car in tip top shape and hoping I can nab some new friends online to pick-up along the way since a 6 hour drive to Pittsburgh isn't fun without a buncha furries to keep you company. I'm probably going to start putting some money away in January for my con savings.
What college do you attend by the way ? I'm going to CCM for 2 years before I transfer to a Uni

I love Salad Fingers, David Firth is an awesome cartoonist. I feel yah on that depression, in the end I thought it wasn't worth it at first because I didn't go with anybody and I was a little lonely through out the con but now that I think about it I had a really good time and met some interesting people like you. College will keep me busy this year too but luckily I'm planning ahead for anthrocon

Anything to give more of a unique appearance would work, I guess. I think I saw a picture somewhere of one with goggles. Without some accessories, they can look kind of plain, haha.

Yeah, it's honestly pretty sad what white man did to red man. A lot of their culture went up in smoke.

Bandannas are cool. I just don't look right in 'em because my fat. Other people can pull it off quite nicely though. :J
