So I might be on a True Life episode about Furries.

I contacted MTV a few weeks ago, after I saw on their casting page that they were doing a True Life (one of the 2 shows I watch on MTV) episode titled "True Life: I'm a Furry." I sent them an email, and BAM two days later I receive a call.

I've spoken with one of the producers several times and had a video interview with his boss. She recorded it and showed it to the executives, who apparently liked my story a lot. I have another interview tomorrow.

If I get chosen for the show, I'm going to have to "come out" to co-workers, classmates... everyone. And I'm a tad nervous about it. But I think it would be great to try and speak up for furs and set the record straight. And to anyone who's wondering, yes, I've given this a lot of thought. I know that by doing this I am going to receive a lot of criticism. But I've been harassed about this for over 6 years. I'm finally at the point in my life where I couldn't really care about what people think about it. It's something I enjoy and it doesn't hurt anyone. Everyone has their own things they enjoy. Who's to judge?

I'll be keeping updates on here if this actually happens. Fingers crossed! :3

God damn it,SeleneMoonblood word of advice when the episode airs, stay away from the internet for a good two weeks to avoid the drama. Also if you do go, for the love of god do not mention sex EVER. Don't say a damn little thing about sex. If they ask you a question about sex, act stupid.

Please...do not try to fix the fandom. You may put together the most solid collection of evidence that would paint us in a good light, but it's the editors who wuld, behind your back, change the entire mood of the story, painting you as a pervert, even though your interviews showed nothing of the sort. I'm not saying it's your fault...it's just that the editors are vicious, bloodsucking dicks.
