Iran has had nuclear weapons for a while. Israel is just engaged in a cold war with them at the moment. I think Iran will eventually launch one. But Israel has nuclear weapons too so its just big cluster fuck.

I'll just throw this out here, as a British citizen, that the Daily Mail can be trusted for one thing only: sensationalist, reactionary, racially-competitive broadcasting, maximally expanding, speculating and abusing semantics to twist any opinion or fact or lack thereof to a political agenda.
Ok, *.gov. This'll be interesting. Some record or something. Here y'all are:

I just read through this. It appears to be a transcript of a speech - the speaker is appealing to the committee to a) support Israel in defending itself, and b) reaffirm a commitment to ensuring Iran has no nuclear weapons.
Unfortunately, it doesn't refer to your original claim at all.
I would like to hear why you think Iran would launch a nuclear weapon. Because there is literally no reason to do so: "Holy War" is like cutting off your own dick to get at the sperm (Israel is just as much Holy Land in Islam as it is other religions), and almost every other reason is poppeycock that comes down to "I get a hard-on of Iran being made into a radioactive glassy crater from the retaliatory strikes".
Not to mention that "US intelligence agencies believed that Iran pursuit nuclear capability up to 2005, but in 2007 they made a u-turn on the issue. That year’s National Intelligence Estimate said that Iran had stopped nuclear weapons research in 2003."
'Course, that hasn't stopped the US and Israel trying to get Iran to dismantle nukes it doesn't have... does this remind you of anything? Iraq's WMD, perhaps?
Not to mention that threatening to attack a country is the surest way of convincing said country to tool up with whatever weapons it sees fit to defend itself with, and if the countries doing the threatening are nuclear-capable... well, even North Korea's minuscule nuke arsenal has put the US off from bombing the place. In Iraq, Saddam only got interested in nuclear weapon research after the Israelis bombed the Osiraq reactor...
Heh. Perhaps Iran should offer to open up its nuclear facilities to inspection on condition that Israel open theirs up as well. Not even the Yanks have got to see inside Dimona!
The opinions expressed in this message are bloody good ones.
It is unknown whether we are going to attack Iran or just acting. I suppose were only behaving as if we're going to attack in order to convince other countries to join us.
If it was me instead of the government, I'd probably sit down tight and wait for more information, but they must know more than me. They must know more than each and every one of us. They have more access to intelligence, whether it's true, false, estimated or made-up.
I certainly don't trust Iran's government, but the sanctions are working, and it won't take long until the country falls and succumbs. Iran's citizens seem fond of establishing more connections with Israel, but the government must be denying any possibility. Their government was in great condition before it turned religious.
It would be reckless and pointless of Israel to attack now, or attack at all. We should only be alarmed, not aggressive.
As for arsenals... Judging Ahmadenijad and Ali Khamenai's behavior, they are not exactly planning nuclear energy for public use.
Judging Peres, who established the nuclear plant in Israel, as far as I know, he would build it for nuclear devices.
Not only that Israel recently bought nuclear-capable submarines, there is still development on the Jericho ballistic missiles, so we must have some type of last resort.
Israel is probably going to play dirty in order to fulfill it's interests.
Best thing we can do now is to stay quiet and watch the fireworks. Perhaps even feel them.
Iran's nuclear program is, indeed, fully peaceful. They don't need any nukes. For what? All that "Death To Israel" blabber of Ahmahowyouspellit is cheap talk meant to appease the fanatical hardliners that are able to remove him from his position. Besides, they ain't stupid enough to give the US that big an excuse to attack them.
Israel's secret and highly illegal nuclear program, however, is not.
My guess is he shouldn't have included secret. That or it comes down to people like After, Satellite, and so on going on about using the nukes they hypothetically "may-or-may-not" have. It's telling when people talk about retaliatory nuclear strikes before invoking the need of other countries' military aid.
