Rant: Why is it so hard for people to use contraception?

Seriously, why?

My half sister dropped the bombshell today that she is pregnant again. Despite doctors told her NOT to have anymore children because of all the complications from her last pregnancy. She gave birth to my nephew back in January. Oh and I am not putting all the blame on her, he should have put a cover on it! And she should be on the fucking pill.

I mean do people honestly think it's okay to cum inside a girl and nothing will happen? Are people really that fucking dense? They can barely afford to look after the current two kids they have, they are both on welfare, both living in a ONE BEDROOM apartment, they don't have room for a third child let alone the finances for one.

I mean, seriously, is it so hard to go to your doctor and ask for the pill? Or to go to the store and buy a condom? Is it so hard to like, stop and think that maybe it's not a good idea for another child yet as they have no room nor the finances yet?

During her pregnancy last year I lost count how many times she was taken to hospital suffering from some problem, sometimes it was bleeding and abdominal pain etc.

My niece currently sleeps in her bed in the lounge, and my nephew in his cot in their bedroom. Their apartment is smaller than mine, there is no physical room to squeeze in a second cot.

I looked at a friend of mine, strolling around her second child at the age of 20, hardly able to take care of her first. Even after so many close calls during school, she still hasn't learned her lesson. She even knew how unusually fertile she is, to the extent that the pill is not enough. Resisting the urge to slap her across the face while yelling "JUST STOP HAVING SEEEEEEX" is unbelievably difficult.

I came in here to say that there are times when, for what ever reason, contraceptives fail. However after reading that they don't use them and that the doctor told her not to have anymore children, plus the fact that they cannot affored another, I think they are just being stupid.

My kid was the result of contreception failing. It isn't 100% and accidents happen.

However, if you take no precautions at all, then that is stupid. On May 18th, I am getting 'fixed.' Permanent contraception so it will never happen again. XD
