Looking for a musical fur for a few odd commissions...
Okay, I'm not actually jumping in to this any time soon, but I will be in some weeks, I hope.
It's probably a stupid idea but hey ho xD
Well, I've always been jealous of musical people- and I've always wanted to be in a band. But the only thing I can do is sing (sort of badly in my mind, even though I've had compliments from one of my fave singers...) And write stupid lyrics. Recently I've been having really, really odd mood swings, and have been writing lyrics of all sorts, most of which are horrendous, some of which I would actually like to hear as songs, even though they are horrendous... xD
So. This is what I'm asking.
I want someone that can compose music to go around these lyrics, so I can do a vocal track alongside it. I'm not overly bothered what sort of music- Rocky stuff would probably work best but I'm open to anything- If you think you can do it in a different style, I'm open minded about it!
Most of these lyrics are sort of depressing- but I don't want depressing music. If that makes any sense?
I am more than happy to pay- I'm I'm willing to pay quite a bit once I can get back to work. I will also commission an artist to draw a sort of CD cover that includes your character and my 'musical' altsona to be used for it. I have an idea who the artist will be, but nothing is set in stone yet. I'm only thinking of this artist to be a complete **** to myself :B
Like I said, it will be a little bit of time until I can get back to work, but I thought I may as well look around now while it's on my mind. So, is there any interest for a musician for this?
And what would your pricing be if there is?
(I've seen people advertising music commissions here before, so it can't hurt to ask, eh? I have no idea where else to go for it. XD)
