General Time Wasting Thread REDUX (READ OP, IT'S MANDATORY)
Alright mateys, despite our best judgement we've decided to give this a FINAL chance, so let me lay a few ground rules. But first, introductions are in order!
Feel bored? Hungry? Have an urgent need to post completely inane crap that doesn't fit anywhere else, or make a thousand fucking threads about your family? Have a deadly allergy to Tinychat and phobia of IRC? Then you came to the right place.
HELLO, EVERYONE! And welcome to the GENERAL TIME WASTING/CHAT THREAD VERSION DEUX: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO.
This is the contentless thread. Here you can talk about whatever, whenever. It's a brave new world, boyo, and you can be part of it!
Of course, there has to be some limitations, so here's the catch:
This is the last. Fucking. Chance. We've tried to have these threads before, but they had to be locked for many reasons. The Mini R&R thread sucks balls because no one payed attention to the "no low content posts" rule, so we had about a million reports a day of terrible posts, most of these reports done by the same user because no one else seemed to care. So we're pulling the plug on that one, but instead of leaving ya'll in the streets barenaked, we're giving you this chance to redeem yourselves.
Here, there is no "don't spam/post low content/shitpost" rule. But we, collectively as FAF staff, don't want to babysit this thread, so there's one special rule:
(THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART. READING THIS IS MANDATORY TO POST IN THE THREAD)
ALL OTHER RULES OF THE FORUMS (which I won't even link to because find them yourself, lazy ass. You're not even supposed to be posting unless you've read the rules first) APPLY. This means no nudity, no unmarked NSFW links, no harassing or calling out other users, no admission of guilt to illegal activities, etc. AND THE RESPONSABILITY TO REPORTS THESE VIOLATIONS FALL ON YOU, THE USERS.
IF SOMEONE BREAKS THE RULES, AND THERE'S REASONABLE GROUNDS TO THINK IT WAS SEEN BY USERS AND NOT REPORTED (like, say, someone posts a picture of their dong and there's 5 replies after that but no reports) THEN THE THREAD GETS LOCKED, AND FAF WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER "GO NUTS AND HAVE FUN/TALK INANE SHIT" THREAD EVER AGAIN.
Also, to make sure you people won't take advantage of this thread to break the rules, I WILL BE PERSONALLY MONITORING THIS THREAD, REPEATEDLY, TO KNOW IF OFFENSES ARE GETTING REPORTED. AND I DO HAVE A TENDENCY TO GIVE TEMP BANS TO PEOPLE THAT DISREGARD MY INSTRUCTIONS IN THESE TOPICS. But besides that, it's up to you, the FAF denizens, to self-moderate this thread.
So, basically, here all rules regarding low content/spam (not the advertising kind) are removed, but the other ones are still in full effect. If you see someone break them, report it or face the consequences.
With that all said, go nuts, it's in your hands now. We've got a betting pool on how long it takes for this whole thing to crash and burn.
