Don't lay all the blame on yourself (esepcially if I think the cause is what I suspect), just look for a solution. To say "my day already started shitty" is to admit self-defeat, and you don't want that if you wish your day to improve. There's still 23 hours to make it a good day, like you said.

That's exactly the problem. I know the possible solutions but I'm not sure if I'm ok with any of them, and both of them have a very long-lasting effect. I just wish things could be just slightly different. One solution is a very selfish move on my part, and another move is not selfish, but leaves me disastisfied due to my own stupidness, which I really, really wish I could fix. The more I dwell on it, the more the problem grows and causes trouble. And it doesn't help that I'm being very vague, but I don't wanna this particular problem straight out in public.
Edit: Just out of curiousity, what did you suspect the cause was? o: It's not family-related, if that's what you were wondering.

I was thinking along the lines of starting eyesight quality - ((size and brightness of screen) * length spent in front of it), but the inverse exponent is confusing.
Edit: Unless Qo is "blind". Yeah, that makes more sense.

I've forgotten some of my physics, but I'm pretty sure that exact exponent is used somewhere else, probably thermodynamics.
Anyway, it's pretty clear t is the only variable and stands for time.
Well, there is a kT in thermodynamics, but I question its relationship to this.
Edit: yup, it's not, T is for temperature.
