It was a venting thread, it served its function. The mini rant threads were created 'specifically' for low content rants that weren't suitable for their own threads. But for whatever reason moderators insist on closing them down; regardless of users still making use of them on a regular basis. Closing down that thread, and then opening this one where people could take part in an identical activity, was pointless. The other one might as well have just been left open.

So no, I don't support the given arguments for closing them. That said, there is nothing I can do; so I'll leave my complaint at that. Hopefully the people in charge won't decide to randomly rob us of this thread as well.

It boggles the mind someone would complain about me closing that piece of shit, so here's the logic behind it.

The thread had one specific rule you people were supposed to follow. ONE. Yet everyone (sans one or two users) disregarded it, and it became the "hey another fucking report from the Mini R&R thread from this guy" game. So you didn't follow the instructions (which said it would be locked if the rule was not followed) and it got locked.

Now, since I'm just the people's champion and I love you all so much, I managed to convince Xaerun to let me put this thread back up. It's the same fucking thread, with the only difference being that I removed the rule that no one was following anyway. People treated MR&R as GTWT, so I locked MR&R and reopened GTWT.



As to why it's in FG instead of R&R, it's because it doesn't increase post-counts (I hate post counts) and the old GTWT were here so it felt right.
