I said I can half understand what you are saying. It's easy really, even though I don't know spanish if you use common grammar rules of the romantic languages and recognize words that are similar to each other you can get a rough translation.
Like I half understand what you are saying in the second sentence, you are asking if my topics being discussed aren't good or something to the effect.
Now if you start using specifc terminology that doesn't have a literal translation then I won't be able to understand.

Nah, most of it comes from greek and latin and doesn't diverge much from its english counterparts.
Though there's "Durazno", which is "Peach"; and "William", which is "Guillermo".
