Actually, I started in the afternoon, and was finished about forty minutes later, just before I left to go to work. ^^
I have a good pace for long distances. I'm just trying to get even fitter so that I can look good for the summer.

7-10 Km in 40 minutes? Or how much did you run? Assuming constant speed, that's like 12 Km/h. Is that close to the average running speed?

10km in 40 minutes is a pretty advanced pace. My personal best for 10km is 43 minutes, so I'm slightly short of that. I would say the average is 10km in one hour.
