I'm a filmmaker and I'm joining your community to hopefully hear your thoughts and opinions on my new Sci-Fi/Adventure/Comedy Web-Series SUPER DINGO. Featuring our Athropomorphic Aussie hero with a bad attitude and an outback to protect.

Okay. First I love that you embrace the whole "not srs" thing. Makes this a thousand times more funny.
And the Japangled Engrish for an Australian thing is hilarious.
And I laughed at the random native american chick sitting on the conference table.AND HER VOICE.AH.

I'm currently editing SD vs the Hippies... It's going to be even stranger!

I'm just going to go ahead and skip my usual welcome.

Your series is great. The acting is superb and the costuming, as well as special effects are incredable. A few questions though from one film enthusiest to another. What kind of cameras do you use and which effects programs are you currently running?

Either way I wish you luck on both youtube and FAF and I hope you gain the fanbase you deserve on either.

Thanks Ember! Those are really kind words and very much appreciated.

We shot our first two episodes on the Red Epic. This is a terrible directing flaw of mine, but I can't even recall the lenses that were used (zeiss maaaybe) or what program our colourist graded it in. The VFX artist used Adobe After Effects and Vue Xstream. Computers used for the VFX were not the fastest. "The Ranger" (bush agents ship that lands before fighting pirates) took many hours to render... My co-director and I then wanted the windows tinted darker and some dirt added as if it had seen some missions already... So those changes added another 120 hours to the render time!

The first ep has kinda bled in many places of the internet, so we want to streamline our fans after SD vs the Hippies is released in July! We should have a website up soon. Hey Ethan, if you want to market an episode to furries we can fill you in on all of the hilarious furry tropes. And you'd be guaranteed a large viewing audience of shitloads of furries seeing the video because 90% of furries would have a drama-fest over it. I mean come on, it did wonders for a little known CSI episode and Tyra Banks. Besides it'd be hilarious.

Ember - we ran a crowdfunding campaign with an Australian site called pozible. We raised about 5k through that and spent another 5k on top of that. It's still a tiny budget and we were lucky to get a shit load of mates rates! Hopefully we can get a bit of funding to make more.
