Hey, one can always dream!
But seriously, so was Spongebob and we know how that ended up.
Internet culture is a fickle one, I believe it's very much possible both the hype and the fandom will have bottomed out till then.
And yeah, I was tempted to add "Again." to my initial post. Sucks that I didn't. :3

Spongebob lost popularity cause all the original writers were replaced. Contrary to popular belief Lauren Faust wasn't the only writer for friendship is magic.
The problem is that you're assuming that because you dislike something that it'll suddenly fall into obscurity. I dislike COD, that doesn't mean I'm throwing out all sanity to convince myself that it'll die out all of a sudden.
Hey Xaerun, what do you think of my idea I had earlier?
If someone sticky'd the mlp megathread in off-topic then low content threads like these will be infractable and we won't see people make three mlp threads in a single week. Think about it, you could infract people for making mlp threads if they're shitty.
I'm just saying, right now you sound like a good example of that what made the OP start this thread...
Spongebob went downhill precisely because it grew to a cash cow franchise, so the suits told the writers to make the same just more. Quality floundered and it all devolved into various kinds of goop flung at char's faces.
I'm not saying the exact same thing will happen to MLP, but the possibility very much remains.
Besides, the logical inverse is true, too. Just because you're a fanboy of something you mustn't assume it will be popular till the heat death of the universe.
Actually this thread is a reactionary thread to this thread-
http://forums.furaffinity.net/thread...37#post2939637
What this thread would be titled if it was written truthfully would be, "Someone thinks I can't take humor well, better make a thread about it".
I didn't say it was going to be popular until the heat death of the universe, I even stated how long I think it'll remain popular. I said three years.
*sniff* *sniff*
Did somebody burn something?
I don't remember who I said it to honestly. The thing is for most long term tv shows that are highly popular they begin running out of ideas for good episodes around season 6. A prime extremely good example of this is Stargate Sg-1, by the time it reached season 10 it was crap.
Easy cause the thread hasn't burned to the ground yet.
Yes, I am a brony. So? I dont see any problem. I embraced my pony soul long ago and I am happy together with my boyfriend (who is a cute b/w unicorn!). We have a fucking lot of friends in and outside of the fandom and I am pretty slim and good looking.
But thanks anyway asshole. Go and play your stupid Diablo III shit while I have SEX with my boyfriend.
... *snrk*
