If people want to argue about which fandom is "better" the differences can be summarized as the following list-

1)Drama
Furries:Known for drama, often sexual.
Bronies: Drama is caused by things relating to the show, i.e. Derpy and other parts(Don't start folks, I was just listing it as a example)

2)Sexuality
Furries: Leaning towards homosexual and bisexual and has cases of heterophobia
Bronies: Largely leaning towards heterosexual and has cases of homophobia

3)Attitude on other websites
Furries: Spam the ever loving fuck out of other forums, often with "furry pride" or "gay furry pride"
Bronies: Spam the ever loving fuck out of other forums, often with image macros and telling people that if they don't know why people like the show to go watch it.

4)Slapfights
Furries: Easiest group ever to get mad.
Bronies: Both bronies and anti-mlp are equally able to be offended, often times anti-mlp get mad just by posting a picture of a mlp pony.

5)Porn
Furries: If you don't draw porn then good luck trying to get popular.
Bronies: You're going to get tarred and feathered for drawing it.

6)Popularity
Furries: Porn.
Bronies: Several ways of becoming popular.

7)Music
Furries: Electronic everywhere
Bronies: Swing and a miss

Furries: Do I even need to say it folks?

Bronies: Cosplay- swing and a miss, but for some odd reason pinkie seems to be the worst cosplays on average, whereas applejack cosplays tend to be the best.

Bronies: Only one major project has imploded in on itself and that was because the group was trying to make a entire mmorpg video game... yeah that was doomed to fail.

We didn't make the last three threads. You can't call something cancer when your side is the one that has been starting shit as of late.

I do not like the show.

I do not want to hear about it in a positive context.

I don't even want to hear about it in a negative context.

I want it to just fucking get away and out of my face. I hate the fact that the show is constantly a thing everywhere I go, be people celebrating it or dissing it.

I don't have a "side". I just don't want one fucking little girl's show being in my face everywhere I go, presented in a million different flavours while I don't care about who likes it and who doesn't. It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

All I have to do is say that I don't like the damn show and I don't want to watch it, and then there is a reaction. People tell me I'm wrong, and they sperge out and demand that I watch several episodes, and constantly try to convince me to do so. Why? You never see me burning people when they say they don't like Rammstein, right? People have their own personal likes and dislikes and normal people tend to respect that. As this thread has proved, bronies absolutely do not. The majority of "anti-bronies" in this thread have explicitly stated that they don't mind if bronies like the show, they respect that. The majority of bronies have yet to treat the other side with the same respect.

You even just lumped me in with the haters with "your side". It's appalling how quick you were to point a finger and say OMG HAETUR despite me trying to be reasonable and fair for both sides. If "I don't like the show" is a horrible first-strike, how pray-tell is any disinterest to be shown? A formal post defining who / what is the problem and is overall specific yet courteous? Okay, I guess that'll- no, wait, Mentova did just that and had the exact same thing happen to him. The other forum had a well stated "Hey, feel free to keep posting pony shit, but keep it in the right places and keep it SFW", and just like this thread there was a sudden cry of oppression, ruined free speech, a staff that hates them, etcetera.

If you popped into the thread and lurked for a bit, you'd see there are less than a dozen people who post in it regularly. Only very occasionally we get the 'hardcore' fan who comes in. If Mentova had asked "Why do some bronies freak out so badly" or something similar, there wouldn't be all these posts about "Ugh bronies are so fucking gay" and subsequent responses, turning the thread into a flame war. No, it'd most likely be answered pretty calmly by the 'regulars' to the thread, who at least have had experiences and can provide some sort of insight in response.
I say most likely because it's unpredictable when someone who just happens to be one of the bronies who lashes out will take a look into the thread.
We realize people dislike the show, don't watch it, don't want to watch it, and dislike how the flame wars have spread to almost every conceivable thing, and we would have said so, and attempted to rationally explain to him why exactly we think some bronies tend to freak out a lot as soon as something negative is said about the show.
