We didn't make the last three threads. You can't call something cancer when your side is the one that has been starting shit as of late. To use a analogy that would be the equivalent of trekkies going on a trekkie forum and posting several threads about star wars all within a small time frame and then going, "Star wars fans need to stop being cancer on this forum".

Easiest way for some hilarity in this thread, mention past comments by posters about furries geared towards furries and then see said members try and flip 180 and contort their spines in un-natural positions trying to make furries seem better than bronies.

I've done this before, it's hilarious.

All you need is post comments and threads they've made in the past complaining about furries and then watch them try to sweep it under the carpet desperately trying to rationalize it.

People keep saying that there are too many of these threads but I did not see an active thread related to this rant other than people discussing the show itself and not the fandom. The only remotely related thread is on page 3 of R&R and has been inactive for 8 days so threads bitching about how annoying bronies can be doesn't seem to be this run into the ground subject that people are making it out to be. Unless I missed the threads in which I'd like someone to point them out to me.

I also stated earlier that people flipping out on someone just because they like ponies is a dick move. This thread isn't about the casual fan. It's about the crazies and how annoying they can get. And yes, they do exist. Maybe you're lucky and haven't seen many of them, but it's not just people who irrationally hate the show bitching at bronies.

Okay, temporarily coming out of my self-imposed lockout from FAF in which I called it a big, stinky poo poo dungeon for months.

As it has been said before, most of the extremes that the brony fandom has can be compared to the extremes of other fandoms. It's more or less a "look in the mirror" thing. However, there is one thing that is uniquely special to the brony fandom that can make it unbearable to some. That one thing is the entitlement.

Take the petty furry entitlement on how FA runs things that you guys see all the time, make the majority of the fandom feel that way, and you get how the majority of bronies react to things. Derpy Hooves gets edited in an episode? Bronies say that they were entitled to the shoutout due to making the show popular. No toys of background ponies or fan characters? Bronies say that they're entitled to them since it's what the consumers want. An episode wasn't 6/5 material? Bronies say that they're entitled to episodes that cost just as much as the extravagant season premiers and finales. It's with every episode flaw, every negative experience with a popular brony, and everything that can use entitlement as an excuse uses entitlement as an excuse. That's the main flaw with this fandom internally, not a lack of love and tolerance.

As far as the like-it-or-not universal bronies on the internet, give it a year or two. That's a long time in internet time, but the fandom should be concentrated to its own spaces on the internet in that time. It's what happens with nearly all fandoms

There's only one ironic thing that I can find in this thread: the original person asking the question seems to know more about the fandom than the people answering that question.

And one more thing: there hasn't been a legitimate fursecution case since the "C.S.I." episode. You guys can bring up the "My Strange Addiction" episode, but you have to admit that you guys were partially responsible for starting that shit.

See, people keep saying "furries are bad too!" but I am well aware of that. That doesn't mean I don't think bronies can be bad, and the fact that I'm a furfag doesn't mean I am not allowed to have an opinion on how weird bronies can get just because furries can get weird too. The entitlement thing pisses me off though. I don't think I mentioned it in the thread, but goddamn it's annoying. "We are the true target audicence we deserve to have the show completely changed to resemble the weird version in our minds." I've actually heard of the crazies saying they want the show to tackle mature topics, like sex. In a 5 year old's TV show.
