Hello everyone. We are currently at out first furry convention, anthrocon, and having an awesome time. MY daughter, who's almost 14 has a fursuit, Mishka arctic. We will be coming to the fur affinty convention! She has met some awesome kids here, but none will be coming to FA . WOW. Why are you guys on this website if you're against the furry fandom? The "kind of people" who go to "these conventions" are amazing, creative, fun people of all ages. In any group of people, ANYWHERE, there will be a few trouble makers, drunks etc..... but not once in 4 days and 5000 people, did we encounter any...
Have you ever even been to a convention? We just spent 4 days in Pittsburgh at Anthrocon, and never once ran into a drunk/weirdo or any horrible people. EVeryone was awesome, I was with my daughter the whole time, and the other teens and their parents. We joined the games, the parade, went to the dances, it was just all around fun. My daughter is an amazing, creative smart kid, I didn't say I was dropping her off their alone, lol! wow, still shocked at the responses...But anyway, know what your talking about when before you speak. Sorry I posted here. I hope all the people who are going to be at FAU have better attitudes!

Ah, don't mind some of the people that post here. There is a large population of people here (furry and some that aren't furry) that like to make "trollish" comments. Once you get used to it, it can be amusing. I am sure that it confuses newcomers though.

As for me, I am neither young (well... pushing 30 isn't exactly old either, but in the internet/furry culture it can be considered so) nor attending cons... 'cause I can't afford it.

Anyway, "FurAffinity" is NOT a convention... it is an art gallery website. It does allow adult artwork to be posted, so if you are on the mainsite, be sure to have a filter on so you won't see that. Minors won't be able to see it anyway unless they lie about their age, which is a no-no of course. On the forums it can be linked to, but the rule states that the poster MUST say "(NSFW)" to let others know that the link leads to something 18+ in nature.

I haven't before, as many badge makers have the ability to make the drawing into a print (or they do it traditionally, which I don't do) and can laminate. I don't have that option... but if the customer could print the picture and laminate it themselves, I definitely could.

Apparently you haven't been to enough conventions yet...
