Any Players of Unreal Tournament 2004?

Hello! You can call me Striker. I'm looking to see if there are any players of Unreal Tournament 2004 on FA these days... I've been wanting to get more players to regular my clan's server, since I'd hate to see an awesome game just die off.

Just so everyone knows, our server is Furry-Friendly, and, we have a bunch of Furry Skins for people to use, in our Server Content Packs. So, anyone is welcome pretty much (except for people who behave like asshats). Our server has the stock game, plus a bunch of new maps, and a few vote-able mods that you may enjoy, such as Ballistic Weapons. The server also shares text chat with our IRC Channel, and our TF2 Server... so you can communicate with, and meet new people who are outside of the game.

The [SM] Unreal Tournament 2004 server has been resurrected, and is  hopefully there to stay. I'm still in the process of initial setup, but  the server can indeed be played on now. It has some pretty sweet mods,  and a few serverside skins for players to use.

The IP Address is - 209.51.146.143:7777

To  add it to your favorites in UT2004, just go to "Join Game", then  "Favorites", then right-click on the empty space in the favorites list,  Click "Add to Favorites".

Here are some Self-Extracting ZIPs with  most of the maps and content the server uses. Tell them to extract to  your "<program files>/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Unreal Tournament  2004" folder. Overwrite any old files if it asks.

NOTE: INSTALL THESE IN ORDER! THIS IS IMPORTANT!

The installation process is similar. Extract the file to your UT2004  folder, making sure it maintains the same folder structure.

Got the boxed version. I was wondering if anyone played this anymore. Reinstalled Unreal Tournament 3 and the servers were all deserted. Hopefully 2004 didn't suffer a similar fate because it was a pretty awesome game.

The game hasn't been completely deserted yet, thankfully. Our clan has matches in the server of about 8 players now and then. Add me on Steam, and I'll add you to our Regulars Group, where our community stuff is posted, and our games are scheduled.

There are a still a handful of Onlsought servers with people now and then. Death Warrant Spam Vikings is where I go.

Wow I use to play the hell out of that game a few years back! I still have the original box/disks. Can't believe some servers are still running after the release of the more recent UTs. I'm now considering reinstalling it to play again. Might even jump on your server for a few games.

I really should reinstall this. EDIT: Actually, no, I still have it installed on my Mac. Do you have any versions of your custom content that isn't in the self-extracting zips? Don't worry too much if you don't, I can always get it on my Windows side without too much trouble.

If there's a Mac app that can extract 7Z files, you can open the EXEs and extract them manually through that.

I never really got into - or even tried - UT04, I only got it for the mods.
