The Travel thread
This is the thread to talk about Traveling, recomendations to differnt areas of the world/your town. Pictures from your travels are welcome. Right, so I'll kick this off with Yosemite. If you haven't been there. Go there. It's fantastic, I was there during the spring when the snow melts, so the waterfalls where fantastic. Oh, and if you can, eat breakfast at the Camp Curry breakfast buffé. Lets see where is it...*looks for his CD with pictures from Yosemite* there it is. I was there spring '06, The weather was perfect. Oh, and if your driving from Yosemite going westbound, take highway 40, the senic route that follows the Merced river, fantastic country along that road. The pictures taken from the plane are on my way back to sweden, I got some really wonderfull shots of the sunset. No didn't stay in the tent cabins, thankfully we got normal cabins. Thats my dad walking back to our cabin. The creek shot is from a stop along highway 40 (senic route) and the grass plains is coming down into the central valley. (central valley isn't all that nice really, but along the foothills of the Sierras it's really pretty.
