A fight would have been awesome. Though Obama would have kicked his ass. Personally, though whole fiasco is a waste of time. He could have waited to say Obama was lying till press time. And congress could have spent their time on more important matters than censoring free speech in the chambers. Esspecially considering the list of stuff that was and wasn't allowed.... Sad fact is though, now that he earned 1 mill in 3 days, more people will be doing this or something similar more often.

See that's the problem. A few loud ones make the whole populace look like whinny idiots. It's really not like that. In certain places only about 10% of the populace are like this. Granted there are certain places that 75%+ are like it. They whine about being poor and having bills when they are living in a 1,000 square foot house with cable, internet, iPod, PS3, etc... No one in this country even understands what being poor is like. No one in the US has lived in a hut made from spare tin or been forced to eat rats or had to wait in line for a missionary group to give their kids de-worming pills. No one in the US is poor or without some means of obtaining money, food, and shelter. If they are it's by choice. But they whine that they are so poor they can't get the newest iPod. That's not poor, that's just not having enough money.

I recall reading about how in the 1980s the Soviets broadcasted an American-made documentary about poor people in America. It ended up backfiring because the people watching it saw that the poor in America had what were to them luxuries, like microwaves and cars.

Now, I don't have a link to back this up, and I can't find anything on it, so maybe I'm just imagining it.

Please look up the definition of poor. Just because you want it to mean something else or think it means something else, does not make it so. And I didn't say they were expected to have and want nothing. But having an iPod is not a need or a right. I can live a pretty good life without an iPod. And frankly it's kind of sickening to have to argue about something like a fucking iPod and poor people wanting it when there are people starving in other coutries....

You can't seriously live on $20 a day with food and having a place to live. $50 a day is the minimum for a single person, $100+ for a family of four, in the USA.

You missed that my response to you was sacarsm I guess? Pan handlers make a lot more than $20 a day. In fact I've heard they make more than $20 an hour. Not to long ago some reporters were following a lady in NY that was living a very good life pan handling. She was living in a great apartment, eating fast food, buying expensive clothes, and putting herself through college with pan handling being her only income.
