Hopefully, to clarify:

When a month rolls around, my first and hopefully obvious priority will be to make sure that the paid-for tails for that month are finished first and foremost. Customers with severely late payments should expect to be put at the end of the following month. I have sent you a few notices about late payments regarding supplies, and at the same time, I gave you an extra month to pay for your tail, and so should have been expected to have taken an extra month to finish it. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I did go out of my way to give you extra time when I don't normally give anyone even one extra day to pay.

I'm afraid to have to tell you that we do not have any slots available for May, our earliest available slot is in November.
Also, tails over 4 feet long are HIGHLY UNrecommended. Not only will you be wasting money on a product you cannot wash, it will smell, get incredibly dirty, and be very matted beyond repair.
The reason I say this is because even though you want it to be poseable, a medium wide poseable tail would be INCREDIBLY heavy, and would probably still drag on the ground either way.

Yes, this should have been mentioned. But as a future note to all, if you do not comply with the downpayment schedule, your tail will not be done in the selected timeframe. There is a really good reason that we have you make downpayment at the specific time that we do, and it is so that we can order the materials for your tail to have it done in a timely manner. I know, it would be awesome if we could just trust you, and the fact that we don't do this doesn't mean that we don't, but this is the internet and we have to be cautious in all business dealings. (Heck, what if you had something come up last minute and you couldn't afford the tail anymore? We couldn't blame you for not being able to get your tail anymore, but we may have already ordered all of the supplies and lost that money otherwise). Your tail, specifically, Tomo, I know part of the reason just ordering stuff will take longer is because it's the tail with the white extensions, which Bir is probably getting through eBay. Hobby Lobby alone takes some time to ship, and any extras from eBay or Etsy even longer than that. Our goal with the downpayment deadline is that we can be sure you are still going to be able to follow through with your payment, but at the same time be able to place all of our supply orders such that the materials should arrive on or shortly after the month that you are scheduled in begins. So it's not really a case of anyone just getting shoved to the back of the line, it's more like when you pay late, a new order has to be placed to get the materials for your tail and stuff takes a while to get to us, so we need to work on what we can until we have the supplies... and we can't really ask for those customers that have paid on time to wait because someone else didn't and should get theirs done first.
I hope that makes sense. Sorry, we haven't done this for very long (this new slot system, I mean), and perhaps some things could use better explanations, or at least a "why" behind certain things. In the future if you can't make a payment on time you should notify us when you can (and maybe you did, this isn't just for you, it's kind of for everybody... maybe this can be written better and posted somewhere on the main page or important journal? XP ) because it may influence how we do things and allow us to let you know when to expect work to start on your piece or if we can even do it at that time.

Vulpenze, it's absolutely no problem! You claimed your slots in plenty of time, and we always allow changes at any given time.

For the silver fox tail: We can add silver accents, but there will be next to no way we could create tight swirlies like the design you've posted. Yarn fur is relatively long in length (4 inches on average) and loves to blow in the wind, so even if we created our bundles one string at a time instead of our usual way, the design would still move around too much to be noticeable. What we can do, however, is add one or two large swirls, ones that won't sway around /too/ much. Similar to this tail! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7600746/ The customer wanted to have lots and lots of little black swirlies, but even on a large wide they're very very complicated and difficult to create. And the only reason the swirlies are staying in that position is because it's inside, not being moved around, and laying completely still. For the most part, though, the swirls will definitely be visible if made much larger.

Also, I should totally pull a Sheldon and tell you just how many kinds of German Shepherd tails there are because I come into contact with 80 of them every single day, but I won't. xD Will you be wanting the brown to be more blonde, or more chocolate? Usually GSD tails are black at the top with hints of dark brown, and fade to a blonde on the underneath and have a black tip.

Meko: I sent you a PM through FA.

The gist of it is this: I am thoroughly pissed off right now. I'm going to have to start asking people PRECISELY what colors their tails are, because apparently, my computer monitor likes to change its settings without telling me. All of this time, I thought Meko's tail was hot pink that fades to white. And after I adjusted the colors today to work on a painting, I found out it's actually LAVENDER.

So I have like, 4 hours of straight tailing to make up for tomorrow. Lovely.

And, now I have a shit ton of hot pink fluffs that need to be used. So I'll be making a pink premade tail to either add to stock or sell online. x.x;

Finished Byron's tail, barring any changes he may want made. I love how the gold highlights are so brought out by the sunlight! Hopefully he likes this tail as much as I do.

Now to get down to studying. I have a research paper to finish, and two finals to study for--my RIF paper for Advanced Research, and finals in Learning and Motivation and Ideas and Cultures in Latin America. The paper shouldn't take me all too long, as I really only have results and discussion to put in. As for finals, I'm pretty confident about Learning and Motivation because I have done very well in that class so far (probably because it's been by far my favorite class this semester), though Ideas and Cultures will take significantly more studying. It's basically Latin American history... in Spanish. Blah. But I'm sure if I just do some rereading and going over my notes I should be good...

Ah! So pumped to be almost done! And then going to the Dominican Republic! And then summer! I am ready for that.
Miss Charlotte did a fantastic job playing rat basketball! The only rat able to out-basket her was Miss Ratburn; she did 15 baskets in 10 minutes and Charlotte did 7. I feel a bit extra accomplished, too, because by watching the videos I saw that a lot of people just had their basketball hoops vertical or diagonal... OURS WAS HORIZONTAL AND OFF THE GROUND, BEECHES. (I will post a vid if I can get one, lol. Our professor put them all into a video.) Ratburn played the best basketball overall, though. She actually did it the right way XD Charlotte does it backwards. Which is definitely adorable, though, haha.

Anyway. Next tail for me will be Tamaska's when I am back from the DR, so expect me to just lurk about until then : 3 And then from April 30th-May 17th don't expect to hear from me at all, for I shall be out-of-country...
