Forum accounts are deleted by a member of the administration team upon request.
Send a private message to one of them explaining what you want done and they will do it for you.

Having problems viewing storys on the firefox browser (never had this problem before, just happened) where i'd click download to view the story but instead of giving me the option box of if i want to view/save instead it trys to load the story in a new link on a blank webpage (which of course fails)....I'm not sure how this happened and i'm not sure what to do now as it only happens on FA, please help.

Is it possible to get e-mail notification of furaffinity.net notes or other important updates? if not, I think this would really be useful especially to customer/commissioners that need quicker contact.

help... i can't replace my avatar in fa... its still in default ... i tried reuploading the avatars...,removing all the cookies and cache.... tried ctrl+f5/f5 still no go... :c help me...

I registered on furaffinity quite some time ago, but I've never really been active. (just in case the age of the account has anything to do with this)
Recently when I came back, no matter what submission I click on, whether adult content or not, I get this message:
"System Message: you are not allowed to view this image"
I've got adult filter turned off, I've tried clearing cache... any ideas so that I can view the artwork here?

Are you banned?
Also try enabling the adult filter, browse a couple of submissions and then log out. Log back in and then disable adult filter.

While it is possible its not used mainly since there are over 400,000 accounts on here (regardless of banned/abandoned etc). Can you imagine the amount of bandwidth used if emails were sent on every note, comment or submisson*? I personally have about 2000 submissions pop-up every week and i only follow 500 odd users. But never the less that would be about 2000 emails to me alone.

* Also consider if the email contained a thumbnail/full-scale copy of the submission in question.

Site accounts are cannot be deleted due to how the site was originally created.

Should you wish to leave FA then you can deleted ALL your submissions/journals etc and log out.

Please disregard, I feel retarded now. I had never actually set my date of Birth, so it was reading my birthday as January 1st of 2010. All is well.
Alright, as far as I can tell I'm not banned (and with no activity on the site, I can't think of any reason I would be)
The instructions above helped, I can now view submissions that have black outlines on their thumbnail. However, the problem persists on any submission that has a blue or red outline on it's thumbnail. (I'm assuming these are adult submissions) Any ideas?

Well at least we now know a probable cause for this issue in the future. It is a bit odd it didn't ask you for a D.O.B since thats a required section.
Anyway glad to see all is well.

I'm having an issue where I click the submit button and it tells me that my gallery folder does not exist and tells me to click the link below to fix it but the link only routs me back to the front page. I can not for the life of me figure out how to fix it and its probably obvious but if you could please help me that would be wonderful. (also this is a new account that I made less than two hours ago.)

*edit* my old account works fine, I'm wondering if this is just a problem that has arisen in the past day or two for new accounts. I just made a new account today.

im having a prob with my fa page. i can leave comments n shouts but i cant reply to comments. it keeps telling me fa is in read only mode but talking with my friens its seems im the only one who has this prob.

If you used IE7 and IE8 then that would be in keeping with an issue that has been posted on the FA Twitter
It has apparently been fixed and this should no longer be a problem.

Uh, I've been having this problem since yesterday with my favorites.

I go to a picture, hit 'add to faves' the page refreshes, but instead of saying 'remove' it still says 'add to faves'

I honestly don't know why it's doing this now. Is it my cache, browser history?...

Edit even though nobody's reading this: Okay, now it's just being an asshole, letting me fave only few things for a few minutes every four or five days. Is someone messing with my account? I would really appreciate any help.

I've been trying to remove people from my watch list... and it won't let me. What should I try?

I've tried to do it through Manage Watchlist and even trying to Unwatch on the main pages of usernames, but neither have worked.

Hi.
I'm in deep sh*t, someone/something has stolen my old email address and changed my FA password, so now i can never change my account stuff or log out/log in anywhere else.
Currently i have made a new email, but because i don't know the new password i can't change the old one.
Last time this happened the thing/dude deleted all of my accounts i had on the internet, i'm afraid it might happen to my FA account as well.
So what should i do?

I'm having issues with my mate and my account. We are unable to hide comments. This feature only works for our own comments and it's not possible on our accounts to successfully hide unwanted comments.

You use the following:

:icon(username): for their icon followed by their username, and : (username)icon: for just the icon. It's without a space for the second one. For some reason these forums keep trying to do something with that setup.
