Those who celebrate the ban should shut up or change how they celebrate, because it isn't their constant whining that got the stuff banned, it's an external site that forced neer to do so.

SoFurry, Inkbunny and a few other sites allow it, but they also accept AlertPay. I don't want to speak for them, but I will say that AlertPay as basically locked away a /very/ sizable amount of funding from us and told us to go away, and that they will not consider an appeal. At all.
AlertPay is a Canadian company, and Canada has much stricter rules on things that would even go hand-in-hand with cub-anything. So they're not going to fuck around, and... yeah.
Gonna restate my previous question for the staff in the know.
With the new cubporn rules in place, after the grace period given to artists to remove their offending art, is there a solid chance of re-negotiating with Alertpay or another company, or has it hit the point where nobody will touch the site, and these are just the last rites here. Cos the thing about no appeals sounds pretty final.
I have to say, how did you not see that from them in the first reaction.
Unless you are in the fandom or into erotica you don't normally even see such things, and when seen by so called normal business minds it's like a crime scene.
I honestly don't think any company in this age will openly link themselves to a site that has this content, and if they are they are unknowingly and if alerted will drop them too.
Is there a way for a user to set up to have their account willingly "audited" for compliance in case they have any art they're not 100% sure about?
I'm not saying like "You need to check X's account, he has cub!"
Instead, I mean like "I've uploaded a few submissions I'm not entirely sure about...do you think an admin could check my account and let me know if I need to remove any of them?"
WELL now...! XD
Actually, it seems Alertpay is not as clean as you may think. Read this testimonial from another adult site client who got screwed over by them:
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showt...2#post13765694
It would seem that AlertPay seems to randomly close accounts and cite whatever is most convient.
So, does this mean that you guys are taking the DeviantArt approach, and will delete any character that is cannonly but not depicted under 18, like, oh, I don't know.... Sonic characters or Tiny Toon Adventures, Krystal from StarFox, or hundreds of other examples?Adult cub art, or images where the character age is specifically stated to be under 18 in a mature situation.
We have options, but we're not going to exercise those options until we are in a position we can handle things.
And... we lost a sizable amount of money. I won't say how much, because the numbers make me cry. As for crisis? No. We'll be fine, but we have to get through this first.
Cool. Does this mean that there won't be any more angry threads about cub porn all the time?

I know, but the point I wanted to get across was that the fandom should not try to give people yet another reason to dislike and ostracize us. We complain all the time about 'fursecution', well why not endeavour to clean up or alter certaint hings a bit and try to present a more respectable facade to the public?
I mean, just think if cub porn were picked up by the mainstream media. ALL of us regardless of whether or not we draw or like cub, would be branded as pedophiles.
Parents will think that the cubs in the sexual situations could be their children or that every fursuiter has their eyes on them wanting to do something malevolent. Lawmakers in every state would be stepping over themselves to introduce legislation to regulate FA and other sites like it.
It's not fair, but that's just how the world works.
So glad CP is getting banned. I'm sick of seeing it. :c
@pantheraleo
Your constitutional rights are not being effected or oppressed by alert pay in any way. They are a private company, if they do not want to associate with FA because of the cub porn, that is their right. You are well within your rights to draw cub porn, you just can't post it on FA any more.
How come people believe that when a privately run website doesn't do what they want it to do or wont allow them to post up whatever they want, it is somehow considered a breach of their constitutional rights?
Jesus christ look at these browsing people lmao

you guys are freaking out/celebrating over nothing
obv. this all just comes down to whatever age the artist/owner of a character assigns to their character. this issue has come up (many times) before, and it's been decided (many times) as such before.
Shut up and go home.
