I was wondering, if I have some fursuit parts and I can't remember who I commissioned them from, can I still hand them over to someone else?

With that, is it also acceptable to give said items to fursuit makers with the intention to break them down for scraps?

I was wondering this too. Also with giveaways -is it rude to resell a suit you won for free if it doesn't work for you?
I feel like if you can't remember the maker and time has passed, you could hand them over. Or maybe ask the maker if it's more recent.
