I'll take the mexican omelette
another cup of coffee and a biscuit please.
Only pancakes. Waffels are for the dark side. May the pancake be with you!
Both! Some days I want pancakes, some days I want waffles. They all have things that make them different, but still good.
Love me some pancakes and woofles together
Somehow I imagined waffles with a dog face..
Belgian waffles seem superior because they have more crispy and delightfully-browned surface area. This means in part that even after adding butter and pure maple syrup (it's fake if it has cane, beet, or corn sugar in it) it doesn't get as soggy as a pancake, and that is critical. The downside is that you need a Belgian waffle iron and can only make one at a time.
They both have their strengths and weaknesses.
Pancakes are easier to make, what with just needing some instant batter, a pan and a source of heat. They're usually soft, fluffy, very slicable, and easy to eat.
