Thank you for reviewing IMVU, Inc's Fur Affinity (herein referred to as "Fur Affinity") privacy policy for the Fur Affinity website located at furaffinity.net and subdomains thereof ("Site"). This Privacy Policy details certain policies implemented throughout Fur Affinity governing Fur Affinity's collection and use of personally identifiable information about users of our Site.
Privacy Policy Updates
Fur Affinity may need to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If so, Fur Affinity will post our updated Privacy Policy on our Site, along with notice that the Privacy Policy has been changed so you are always aware of what personally identifiable information we may collect and how we may use this information. Information Collection and Use
To register an account at Fur Affinity we request certain personal data from you on the registration form such as your username, password, email address, and date of birth.
We also collect the location data, including city, metro code, zip code, state, country, latitude and longitude and area code through your IP address as well as your browser id.
In addition, when you register, we may collect any personal data that you personally elect to include in your public profile, including email addresses or contact information.
Unless you have set your preferences to hide certain data other users on our service will be able to view your profile data (which includes your username or any customizable data which you may have provided, such as a bio, contact information, or personal preferences).
Children's Privacy
Fur Affinity recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities and interests. The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. Fur Affinity does not target its Site to children under 13. Fur Affinity does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
If we learn that a child under the age of 13 provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete that information. You have a right to request that Fur Affinity delete your personal data that it holds. This isn't an automatic right, and what Fur Affinity is able to delete will depend on the type of data that we hold about you, whether it was obtained via consent, what purpose it serves, and whether Fur Affinity has an obligation to keep the data, among other things.
Note that unless you request deletion, and such request is determined to be appropriate, while you remain a user, we'll process and retain your data as described in this Privacy Notice in order to enable you to use the Services. Once you stop being a user, we will hold your data as described in the data retention section.

For all requests mentioned above, there is a 30 day limit to which Fur Affinity must respond by, that may be extended in certain situations. If you feel that Fur Affinity is not processing your personal data in a manner that complies with the GDPR, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country of residence. - You have a right to withdraw your consent
For activities where you have provided consent to Fur Affinity, you have a right to withdraw your consent at any time by opening a trouble ticket and notify staff. Note that where you remove consent we may not be able to offer you continued access to the Services. However, if the consent relates to activities that are not strictly necessary for a functional user experience, your withdrawal will not affect your ability to use and access the Services.

Users Outside of the United States
Our computer systems and third party hosting provider systems are currently based in the United States and may be located in other countries, so your personal data will be processed by us in the U.S. and other countries where data protection and privacy regulations may not offer the same level of protection as in other parts of the world, such as the European Union. If you create a user account with the Site as a visitor from outside the United States, by using the Site you agree to this Privacy Policy and you consent to the transfer of all such information to the United States, which may not offer an equivalent level of protection of that required in the European Union or certain other countries, and to the processing of that information as described in this Privacy Policy.
