    You mentioned (Micro?)SD cards costing 80-120 AUS in the '5/17 site attack' thread. Have you considered having someone stateside find a cheaper card and mail it to you? A retailer local to me (Micro Center) advertises a pair of 64GB SDXC cards for $25-$37US ($35-50AUS according to xe.com)

    Sorry for the late reply. I was thinking about having someone stateside purchase it at retail, then forward the card (and its adapter, which is usually included) fastened to a standard sheet of paper inside an ordinary envelope. Presumably this would be able to travel at the same postage as a regular letter.
