    Yeah, kinda feels a bit like that, but on the other hand, it kinda feels like a big thing. Like, last time the IRA was active wasn't exactly all roses.

    I'm worried that Irish Americans might risk getting the wrong end of the stick in such a thread- I've spoken with some previously who end up accidentally making comments that support the IRA, for example. But hey, maybe it would be an opportunity for people to learn about the troubles. I'll grub some bbc stories together later and make a thread.
