    I don't know you but I respect you for your work with marine life. I wanted to be a marine biologist but I am mentally ill and couldn't complete my education. (I'm okay now but I'm not really capable of achieving that goal.) Still, you sound cool. Very cool.

    Sure. I have used R in statistics and ecology coursework. It was a valuable tool for my Masters thesis, projecting invasive species distributions based on presence-only models and global climate projection models. I have not used it regularly the past couple years but have been jumping back in recent weeks to keep the knowledge fresh.
