    FA/IMVU Discussion

We've already waited. We're already being ignored in all of our concerns and questions are going unanswered. And the art theft is already happening (has been before the sale but now it's a lot more common than before). The waiting is over, it's happened and now we have to try to figure out how...

    FA/IMVU Discussion

Some of you on here may remember a few years ago when FA was hacked by someone on LULZ and all of the private messages ("NOTES") were downloaded and then dumped to the public. Well right around that time, Dragoneer, himself, and the entire admin staff (At the time.. they might be the same folks...

    FA/IMVU Discussion

I'm probably getting either this post deleted or banned for "enciting drama" but for folks that don't know the past about dragoneer, go look up "Dragoneer" on encyclopedia dramatica. I know it's often viewed as "not facts" site but they have a lot of screenshots to back up what they claim. At...

    FA/IMVU Discussion

This is what you are not understanding. Dragonner -SOLD- FA to IMVU, as in, lock stock and barrel, signed it over, sold, gone. Dragoneer is now an -EMPLOYEE- of IMVU and no longer "HAS" FA, it's gone, not his, does not own it, nothing. It is 100% completely owned by IMVU and Dragoneer is just a...

    More site slowdowns

Any gallery on FA I can click on it and the "page generated in blah blah seconds" is indeed low, but sitting there and watching the gallery thumbnails appear can take.. up to more than a minute sometimes. Where as any other website I go to everything just pops up instantly. FA is slow as sludge...

    More site slowdowns

You guys are reporting this as if this is some news or something. The site has never been "Fast". It's always slow and always crawls along at slow speeds. This is nothing new and probably doesn't even need reporting. They don't do anything to make the site faster around here, even if you report...

    Update the site's software.

Unfortunately, since the staff here on this site make it a regular habit of deleting any older information in the past that is not-so-nice about the website, this is the only place that even recounts these events even happening at all today. So unbiased or not, sorry.. that's all I can find at...

    Update the site's software.

Actually, in case you forgot, I'll remind you. During "Augustgate" the community already gave Dragoneer and the FA staff $19,000 in donations, way back in 2008. Apparently that wasn't enough money to properly re-design a website that can handle the kind of load FA endures on a daily basis...

Interesting Musing about the FA Downtime

Something like that. We have to remind the public every so often, neer was so good at covering it up that most folks today don't know it ever happened.

Interesting Musing about the FA Downtime

You say this as if neer actually -PAYS- anyone to work for him. It's common knowledge by now that neer spends so much money on booze and electronic toys. He couldn't afford to pay anyone for even an hour of work on this site. The only logical conclusion would be neer must have some kind of...

Login/Password Problems: Accessing FA on PS3

Does the browser in PS3 not support SSL? that may be the problem. Edit: I should of clarified, this site requires SSL To be supported (and enabled) by your browser before you can login now. If the browser does not support it then it may fail to login, is why i suggested this.

Image/Thumbnail Problems: Resizing Violations and enforcement

It's nice to see folks like YAK agree with your post. So basicly y'all are saying go ahead and if we figure out how to do this then it's okay and no one minds and do it anyway. So, since clearly the admins don't mind, I'll inform those of you that -do not know- how to do this. You upload an...

Image/Thumbnail Problems: Resizing Violations and enforcement

Actually 1920x1080 and 1280x720 LCD monitors are normal and comprise the majority of options for monitors sold at the retail stores these days, high resolutions are fairly common now. Also, all 1080p HDTV's that are used as computer monitors are 1920x1080.

Image/Thumbnail Problems: Resizing Violations and enforcement

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but here it goes. So first, a screenshot of a note Dragoneer himself sent me over a year ago, which should summarize the problem: un-shrunk version: http://www.outfoxed.net/resize.png (A note, the linked image there no longer exists, i...

    FA's raid system

Yes there are multiple different types of RAID, however there IS only one kind that will let the system continue to function during the rebuild, and continue running during and with a failure, Typically that's raid 5. Although it is possible to use Raid-1 and do this, but i doubt a site the...

Inability To Block Users From Userpages

I guess i'm still a noob to FA, but i've clicked all over my control panel, account settings, and everything, and i can't see any possible way to add anyone to any kind of block list. Where is it? Also, does it block people from sending me notes? I have someone soliciting commissions to me...

    Note Block?

Is it possible to block someone from sending you private notes on FA? I had someone today that i don't know sending me random notes to try and order commissions from em. It's just the same as unsolicited spam and i need to figure out how to block em.
