I find it weird that I can listen to and love BtBaM, but if I hear IWABO I get sick to my stomach (no offense, just my opinion), yet my friends who don't listen to metal tell me they sound the fucking same. o_O Just a weird observation.

It's a mix of jazz fusion, prog, and death metal. Give it a chance; it might grow on you. :3 Personally, I just can't get into straight up jazz. It's one of those genres that I appreciate because I know it takes serious musicianship, but it's just not my thing.

How is it a problem? Those bands I consider to be prog death rather than metalcore. But they are CLASSIFIED as metalcore nonetheless.
