Archaic answer and why it is currently the way it is: because mods still need to be able to view harassing, removed comments
But this is something that we are aware of and want to work on in the future (: It's been discussed
It's a well meaning suggestion, so I don't mean to dismiss it without thought - I just don't think that it belongs as its own. It could be either of the two depending on what you need to talk about!
I personally will not be adding an advice forum. That kind of thing can easily be discussed in our current forums and the only point of separating it would be to go through archived topics and get advice - which is probably not a really good idea.
In regards to the NSFW ads on forum, I'll mention it to them now. I believe they are intended to be SFW only.
As for some of the other stuff, most of it has already been suggested and replied to by me. I'll go back through this topic later.
There is not, though we are working on a solution for this which includes many other quality of life fixes. Also, the announcement that was posted today has some info regarding this.

As far as I can tell extensions for blocking allow users to either use the current functionality or the add on functionality. It doesn't replace it, so you can have either.
Yes- it's something I mentioned even before the forum software was updated as it had loopholes, but maybe since it's a bigger issue now, we'll be able to find a solution. I don't block people, so until it's mentioned and I test it I'm unaware. I don't live for the social suffering of FAF folks lol
No, they'd be banned eventually if they were bothering yoy here continuously. Nowhere did I imply or state I want the block feature to be useless. I did however state that I can't do anything about it and I have already pointed it out to Dragoneer as a paid extension that we should have.
I see. They nerfed it to make it absolutely unusable in the update lol. Well, nothing I can do about it but suggest that Dragoneer buy a forum addon to try to fix it. Just report people that contact you, please.
