I can sympathize with that. Despite that I draw virtualy all of my anthros in the nude (and personal trademark/fetish #2, postures that display the nether regions), the "goods" are always covered by a layer of pelage. Nothing to see there.

My concept sketches always tend towards being very rough and scribbly, too. Everyday, yes, wholly accepted... well, not by me. ;)

Two of mine are closely related: Whenever I draw a reptilian anthro, I always sketch out the tail as part of the body, and build the legs in around it (e.g.), such that the line of motion follows the tail instead of the legs. This has in fact bled over somewhat into my non-reptilian anthros...

dA notifies you of being +Watched -- or should I say it notifies you of being +Friended, it's just that whenever you click the 'Watch this deviant' link it automatically +Friends them. It notifies you of comments and replies except for comments on your userpage.

I don't mind them, because for one, I almost never fave anything anyway. (I've been on dA for two years and still have yet to fill up a page of 24 faves. And dA doesn't notify you if people comment on your userpage.)

Virtually every Internet art site has the same problem, the crap outweighs the good stuff. Maybe because it's so much quicker to complete a crappy sketch than a good one.... In the meantime, just +Watch the good artists.
