The tornadoes here were just EF-1. The really nasty ones are EF-5 on the zero to five scale.

I've been near them several times in my life. They aren't fun. Sometimes they are so strong that they literally suck the pavement off of the road, but that's rare. They can explode a house into kindling in an instant and flip cars and trucks like they were toys. Small ones like the onces...

We had three very small tornadoes in Memphis this morning. There was some light damage but no injuries that I know of. My house if fine. There was some damage at the airport and some small businesses and an apartment complex were somewhat damaged. I'm just letting anyone who was concerned...

The first line of storms has passed. Tornadoes are gone for now.

Two tornadoes are out there, but are miles away from me. One might have hit my ex's house. I won't know until later. Radar showed it right next to where she lives.
