Not that great to be honest, especially for the cost.

    Buying a Tablet

Tilt and Rotation sensitivity. This feature shows up a lot in a program like Painter. If you ever have done calligraphy traditionally you know how the change of angle in your pen will affect how the stroke works. This is the same on an intuos. Intuos3 has the 6d art pen it's a more useful...

    Buying a Tablet

Because the wacom brand has the most stable drivers. I've seen people go nuts with their tablet drivers with specific programs. I've had the least problems with Wacoms, and the fact it's one of the few tablets with a very high resolution and tilt sensitivity.

    Gender?

Oh some reason I thought you meant the main site. I apologize. Yes, I added those in for the profile.

    Buying a Tablet

Bamboo fun is close to the old graphires. I do not believe it has tilt sensitivity. Also the programmable keys are not program specific like the intuos. http://www.wacom.com/bambootablet/compare.cfm That is a tablet comparison chart. There is a sticky thread on Wacom Tablets in the Tutorials...

    Gender?

That's not true. The Biography/Artist's profile option has always been there. You can customize that profile as to how you want it. Why else have it if not to read who that artist is? Your Post was made in April of 2008, this feature for filling out the bio has been around for years

    Iron Man was freakin' awesome!

One of the few movies where there wasn't a part that made me go... "umm hurry it up" as it was well paced. I don't know what people were expecting when they say "predictable" ...an M Knight Shyamalan movie? It's already got it's comic book history, and you know fanboys go nuts when it strays too...

    Gender?

Put your gender on your biography, even if there is no stated place to put gender, you can put it on your bio page since it's the front page of your site. In the forums, there is a spot to select gender on the User Profile, in your User CP. Not sure if that's a field that should show up in post...

anyone else bothered by the Cocktails ad?

It's not, it's rotated with another ad at the bottom. So there isn't an "apt" comparison. Think about how many journals users post without any real warnings of content, that a visitor will stumble upon. At least Clubstripes says they're adult, I don't see people warning that when they post links...

anyone else bothered by the Cocktails ad?

It kind of makes me scratch my head. Users are allowed to post not work safe links in their journals all the time, advertising their porn commission on furbuy or furbid and don't mention the content. However an advertisement that does caution users this is adult content gets the press...

Why is age verifaction for adult artwork based on outside sites?

Umm, iirc you don't need to update your DOB in something like Livejournal, since it asks you to put in a birthdate and you have the option of displaying it. Using Age on Deviantart is understandable because it's like FA a "fake" method of age display... in reference to the profile field that...

    FA out?

To those on this thread which goes for the rules of the site. Stop insulting other members. Please stop the random roleplay. If it's found you're doing it again on other threads after you received your warnings, infractions will be handed out.

anyone else bothered by the Cocktails ad?

Eh, there will be people who disagree with you which is fine. It's when it degraded to insults which was bad. You have a right to voice your concerns in a civil manner, in which you did.

anyone else bothered by the Cocktails ad?

Incorrect, you were intentionally trying to be inflammatory. You have been warned before about this behavior in the past. Defending you personal beliefs can be done without being insulting. Drop the topic and take it elsewhere and not on this thread.

anyone else bothered by the Cocktails ad?

Inappropriate language isn't so much about cussing but the fact you were derailing the topic with the in jokes. That just really had nothing to do with the issue other than the fact I was pointing out the rude behavior of another user and people were jumping in and acting in detriment to that...

anyone else bothered by the Cocktails ad?

Your user is known for causing disruptions on the forum. You might want to have a little talk with him about that. It really doesn't matter to me what department they're from, if they misbehave frequently, again punishment can be delivered. It may look bad for relations between the sites if...

Then they can go play elsewhere, internet has a lot of places to play. As long as they're here they should be more abiding to the rules.

anyone else bothered by the Cocktails ad?

Just give warnings in the future for users that are causing problems Dragoneer. I mean use the infraction manager. We see enough warnings in that user's profile, we can just decide what kind of premissions a user has on the forums. Simple as that. That's O/T but there are people on this...

anyone else bothered by the Cocktails ad?

That apparently FA is not Yerf? I've seen worse ads advertised on sites that non pornographic, as I said GTA is a great example, talk about a game that preaches all the wrong things, but what are most users playing right now? How much did that game sell? Yet ads for it are all over the place on...
