I thought we were talking about the FA mainsite, not the forums.

Rumor is that Nintendo never sells their products below cost, not even hardware. Miyamoto is also on record for stating that he originally wanted the Wii to retail for $100.

    Deletable/editable comments?

Soft delete, soft delete. Meaning the comment is still logged, the "evidence" is still there for the record, it's just removed from view to not fan the flame(war)s.

True, and most of the existing ones don't really add any new functions, they just change the physical shape/feel of the Remote.

Can we by any chance hear their input?

    Pokemon Diamond

The Pokémon series has had in-game cosplayers ("Pokémaniacs") ever since its first generation in the Red/Blue versions. (I don't recall if the first generation had a sprite for it, but I do remember one opposing trainer specifically asked "Do you know about Pokémon cosplay?" when challenging...

Yes, the Wii Remote has an expansion port at the bottom (currently used only for the Nunchuk and Classic Controllers). Wii Remote also has a pointer feature, so it can be used for light-gun games.

    Deletable/editable comments?

Make it the shorter of 3~5 minutes or their next comment. As for deletable comments, a "soft" delete ("hide" feature) would work wonders. That way, users can remove offending comments, and site staff still have access to them whenever they need it.

    Ignore User option

I agree, an ignore/block feature would do a lot for allowing users to deal with harassment and flaming without having to run to site staff for backup.

    Photographs - request for consistency

In my experience, that generally means it varies depending on which admin is available to respond.

    Avatars (adult imagery on avvies)

My concern exactly. They're crotch shots plain as day, blurred or not, and I come from a few sites whose standing policy is that some things are still against the rules even when censored.

What was that one game using a dose of Native American myth called, "Prey" or something?

    Avatars (adult imagery on avvies)

There's also a lot of users out there with butt-shot avatars. I can generally ignore them, but there are a few (such as by this user) which may be pushing the line.

    okami

Maybe because most of the myths referenced in Okami aren't well-known on the stateside? And not everybody knows that "Nippon" is the native name for Japan. So without all the cultural underpinnings, the story feels more highly original as a result. Maybe.

    okami

Did somebody say OKAMI? *waves hand* I loved virtually everything about it. The graphics, the music, the wolf, the unlockable extras, the gameplay, the final battle . . . and did I mention the music? I hear it sold more over in the US than it did in its native Japan. THAT's pretty sad....

    Need Sci-Fi category

I thought the goal of FA was to be not just "another furry site" y'know? And yes FA could use some theme descriptions. dA's current system sucks, they don't have all the descriptions filled out, you have to pick 3~4 layers deep before it'll show you info about ANY of 'em (and if the deepest...

Need help locating a picture/artist (did a Taun We piece)

I believe that's what FA's "Search" feature is intended for. But the FA search engine has been down for . . . hey, just how long, anyway? Google is of no help here.

Have you seen this? http://gear.ign.com/articles/799/799262p1.html As if the concept of Sony imitating Nintendo's motion-sensitive controls wasn't already clear enough, a third-party has officially split the SIXAXIS in two, turning the left half into a Nunchuk and the right half into a...
