Defining a major character trait like weight isn't being very detailed, IMO. For my characters (NOT fursonas), they each have their own back stories and personalities. In general, I try to define just about every possible aspect of my primary characters.

Video games. Movies. Mall. Friends. Video games and movies with friends at the mall.

My brother and I used to play with stuff animals all of the time when we were kids. In fact, we kept playing these games until we were both in our teens because they were so damn fun. I have no doubts at all that this is what turned me furry.

Symphonia's multiplayer doesn't work well if the first player is a melee. Take one for the team and play as Genis or Raine, and always target the furthest enemy. If everyone else can figure out how to run vertically towards the enemies, most of the frustration is taken out of the multiplayer...
