Re: Jumping off the uncanny valley thread, what would your reaction be to sentient Ai
I agree on the part that our experiences make us unique, the thing is many people believe the notion that there is only one of them in the world. However if we find out on the base level of our mind that we...
Re: Jumping off the uncanny valley thread, what would your reaction be to sentient Ai
I was referring to the joke you made earlier, you made the joke in a reply to my response,
and I was building on top of that, in response to a earlier quote about how someone said that we try to make Ai to...
Re: Jumping off the uncanny valley thread, what would your reaction be to sentient Ai
I think people are going to try to hack each other's brains when/if cybernetics comes around regardless if we find out we operate as predictably as computers.

Re: Jumping off the uncanny valley thread, what would your reaction be to sentient Ai
Actually most first world countries are having population decreases or their population growth is slowing down and will eventually reverse.
Regardless if there are sentient Ai's, the population of the earth...
Re: Jumping off the uncanny valley thread, what would your reaction be to sentient Ai
But you would have to maintain them, upgrade them and it the cost of them would be far too expensive at first for it to be a viable work force at first, it would take decades before they became cheap.
Re: Jumping off the uncanny valley thread, what would your reaction be to sentient Ai

Programmed to...
