Just take it to an Apple store and they'll take care of it. In the meantime, you can do what I did when I spilled soda into my Macbook Pro's keyboard - mash the keys until they stop acting up for a little while.
I don't write down a thing. I really should, because things fade if I'm ever forced to take a long break from guitar or piano, but I've never really been one for sitting down and transcribing over just playing.

There's a guy at my school who I've seen a few times around campus. He wears little cat ears on his head. I think he's more of an anime guy than anything, though.
I agree, being excessive with it never helped anything. I just like using them because it adds a lot of tonal flavor and you can choose to make some pretty interesting stuff.
...has crippled Apple's servers. Took me about 8 hours before I finally got my 1st-gen iPhone upgraded to the 2.0 software and activated, and it was bricked in the meantime. I'm not usually one to bitch about Apple, but I think they really dropped the ball on this one.
