    Wanted and Needed: Wacom Graphire4 and USB port help!

    I still have a few of the older driver versions, and you can get the older ones from Wacom as well. I say get: Driver 4.96-8 For Windows 2000, XP & XP x64 Sep. 06, 2006 2.80MB - For intuos the one that came in with the package is really bad, but if you'd like some of the older drivers...

    FA Paid Accounts = Web Hosting?

    ...a waste is a terrible thing to mind... I recall that FA said that the features on the site now wouldn't have been removed or moved to a subscriber only feature, but more advanced features would be added for those who subscribed.

    Wanted and Needed: Wacom Graphire4 and USB port help!

    2.0 isn't really something that matters on a HID device. It's only important for data transfer rates. So a 1.1 port is just as fine for a Wacom. You cannot run wacoms on HUBs, I don't care what Wacom says, I've tried it so many times it doesn't work. Powered hubs are bad for Wacoms because of...

    Trees and Nature

    Why is it "stumped" by a specific program? I don't get that since the methodology for drawing is about the same in ANY program or traditionally. Anyways. http://search.deviantart.com/?section=browse&qh=boost%3Apopular+age_sigma%3A24h+age_scale%3A5&q=tree+tutorial

    Tips on making things bigger

    Working small is good for thumbnails. One should do at least 4-12 of these to get an idea on a finalized piece. However, if a person continues working small often times it doesn't allow someone to perfect their anatomy because they think working small will cover their mistakes. This isn't to say...

    tips on color

    Think about your light source when you color. I also like to work or compare stuff in greyscale to see if it looks weak to see what areas I need to beef up or tone down.

    Tips on making things bigger

    There is a saying in art, "Good from far, but far from good" Don't worry so much about things not looking excessively clean at a large size, the details will fix themselves as you make it smaller.

    Right, but I'm comparing the face to a leopard, the Jaguar's face is more roundish while the Leopard is more narrow.

    Offering Redlines < Resurrected! 10/13/07

    RE: Offering Redlines Umm. Why do people think that it's PERFECTLY OK to upload adult artwork to the forums where anyone can see it? Last time I recalled you have to mark your stuff appropriately on the main site. Uploading an attachment that's adult is prohibited. >.<;;;

    Dragoneer's Guide to Wacoms

    Well, I've now cycled through all three versions of the intuos. All of them were 6x8. I have to say I really love the intuos 3 the most followed by the original intuos. The 2's pen is fat but the problem is the duo switch falls off way too easy. Some people got the grip that lets you take it...
