ok, this may sound weird, but... (expert artists/animators only!!!)

Quoted for relevance, not a counterpoint: I'm looking at Toei's filmography most of these series are not adult as the former poster said but mostly children to teen shows. Misspelling a MAJOR animation company's name and not doing research on consideration and time on a company's budget...

You're kidding right o.O;;; You want a Japanese company to animate some random gaijin's work. Wow, you really don't understand the workings of the Japanese do you?

    painter is a pain¬¬

Mac or PC How much Memory do you have, and how much are you assigning it to Painter? You may want to open your task manager and see how resource intensive it is being and make the proper adjustments. Also, if it's acting somewhat buggy, you may want to do a factory restore Corel...

    painter is a pain¬¬

You're also not identifying which version of painter either. I know you're using the trial version, but there are older versions of painter as well.

    Mmmm FireFox 2.0

Firefox will restore your sessions on startup, you don't need to do a false crash. To have Firefox to restart where you were when you last closed it: 1. From Firefox Tools Menu select Options… 2. From Main in the Startup section, When Firefox starts: select from the drop-down menu...

    Weve got a comment bot

Actually constructive feedback causes drama. It's not that one should expect every submission to be given positive feedback but I think I can do without "kool pic" if that's all you have to say, a favorite is enough. However, many artists are very finicky over how they expect users to give...

Sadly the generic comments are probably better than half the comments a user normally receives XD

    coloring with mouse

Selections are key when you don't have a pressure sensitive tablet. You don't really need to smudge either, if you know what you're doing. Feathering selections also gives some softness to areas, as well as just knowing how to change your layers to work for you. Sometimes working in greyscale...

    So, about that migration...

Right, I'm not arguing that artists left. Even that's debatable because removing your art from the account still doesn't mean they're not lurking. They don't make comments or whatnot. My perspective is of a grand scheme of things, even if they're widely watched it's really still minuscule...

    Anthro Face Angles

That was my point actually, what works for me doesn't necessarily work for someone else but I break it down to simpler shapes for me to understand. If I get confused on linework I change the sketch lines to a different color and fade it, if working digitally. I use a drafting pencil that's...

    Shading lighting....

Basically if I see errors in my picture no matter what medium I use, I check how it looks in greyscale.

    So, about that migration...

Actually I think people should register the accounts "alot" "popularartists" and "everyone" so they can justify arguments ;)

The polygon lasso tool is the regular lasso, if you click on the arrow on that icon it will give you lasso options. http://www.anime.net/~arshesnei/how-to/magicwand.jpg Second button on the left down.

Yeah I have tutorial on this forum about it, I generally learned to use the polygon lasso tool for selections on coloring as well as using masks.

    So, about that migration...

What is "a lot" If you only watched 5 people and 3 left that can be considered "A lot" But there are 30,000 accounts so that number may be insignificant overall. I know people just not using the site because it is having issues more than the cub thing.

    coloring with mouse

I used photoshop to color most of my works with a mouse. http://www.anime.net/~arshesnei/art/aniart/sjanipartyblack.jpg that was done with a mouse.

    So, about that migration...

The thing is as well, I wouldn't be surprised even if those that "left" still use their accounts and just lurk. It's not like there's an activity button that detects their movements.

    Problems with Photoshop CS2

You don't always have to uninstall. Try restarting the service if you use XP (though I believe this is also available in NT as well). I have this problem occasionally with my WACOM as well.
