The only way to protect your art is to sign it and copyright it other then that once it hits the internet it's free game it'll go anywhere and everywhere.

That last part defines my fathers reaction but my mother wouldn't care she would just want to see me. My grandparents would be like wow I didn't know something like that existed and wouldn't want to know any more about the subject. Overall no one would care.

If you want to wean yourself off mainstream rock sometimes the best way is to listen to some oldies. Fleetwood Mac, a-ha, and Billy Joel are a few good artists hope this helps ya enjoy.:)
