Because some people get obsessed with SL. I have an account on SL but it is rare for me to get on. It eats up so much system resources. I have also heard more bad shite from the game than good shite, so i tend not to bother.

It is listed in my dictionary. (i have recently checked) Those who do not see it as a word despite it is listed as oe in the dictionary are prudeish >:(
