Just get a partial with head, tail, hands. Use short hair, it's a hell of a lot cooler. Not all fursuits are goofy, depends on how you make it and that. Not at all, mine is comfortable as hell, but that's how I made it to be. (yes my first one does suck I know)

Ears and tails are easy, I could make them in a hour. So while we're on the topic, what type of character should I make the sharkfursuit be?

Also decide what type of character you want the fursuit to be, like if you want it to be country hick buy country clothes, if you want it to be a surfer buy the clothes, etc. I plan on making a shark fursuit after I fix my current one(redo the head again), what type of character would go well...

Yeah but with fursuits you can get a job doing it.

Then get whoever you know that knows sewing to teach you how to sew. Also for fursuits use upholstery string.

If you really really can't get a fursuit you can just get the head, tail, hand and wear a long sleeve shirt with pants.

They're actually much cheaper if you make it, it's just you really really really have to know what you are doing and learn how to sew and that BEFOREHAND, also have some extra money incase you run out of money like I did.
