My Samsung YP-U1 (kind of an old model) mp3 player froze up today. I can't turn it off, and a high-pitched sound is coming through the headphones. The backlight is on and the screen hasn't changed for almost 5 hours. Should I just trash it, or can this problem be fixed (cheaply)?
