Using pure black when you mix it with colours dulls it down and is actually a bad thing if you want your tv to be vibrant.

gamplay is more important than graphics.

What I mean is you can have the most amazing game graphics wise and the game be still shit, but you can have a game that never fully utilizes it's game consul's graphics and still be better. tl;dr how good games are depends on gameplay not graphics.
