They didn't say it would release next year, just that it would be unveiled next year.
But yes, they need to listen to their fans and gamers. I don't understand why not?
Nintendo just filed a patent for a diskless stationary console.
A user on NeoGAF found what he said Nintendo filed back in this past February. Even gave some rough schematics:
As well as what might be for the game's controller:
The source...
I was thinking more towards the right stick being used for the pointer, and the D-Pad used for the camera. Just in case the NX doesn't have gyroscopics for some reason.
Assuming it's not coming the Wii U, if a third Super Mario Galaxy game came out for the NX, and the NX may not have motion controls (those have pretty much died out), there might be a problem.
Motion controls were key in the first 2 Mario Galaxy games, but if the NX doesn't have those, would...
Does anyone here think the NX is gonna implement augmented and/or virtual reality? VR and AR are making a pretty big impact, and even Microsoft and Sony are already jumping on the bandwagon.
I know Nintendo likes doing it's own thing, but I feel it needs to implement AR/VR support for the NX...
Is it being narrated by Inklings?
Also, I came across this thing, and all I can say is "Wait, what?".
And another note, they're pulling the plug on Nintendo TVii on August 11, which isn't really a bad thing since nobody used it.
You seriously just called Just Dance an exclusive?
And could we please not call each other blind followers over something so petty? We were not even talking about exclusives, more about future leadership for Nintendo.
I also think maybe Sakurai would be a good contender.
At least she's not Putin. XD
They said they were REVEALING the NX in 2016, not releasing it. Don't get too ahead of things when Nintendo has yet to say when it's coming.
While we are still upset about Satoru Iwata's recent passing, the major question it's posed is "What will happen to Nintendo?".
Who would be the most qualified person to take Iwata's place?
While I was thinking perhaps Shigeru Miyomoto, I remembered how he said he would rather be focusing on...
I'm not kidding, unfortunately:

Well, we now know what will be North Korea's ultimate undoing; It's own unimaginable stupidity.
